Senior Associate, Pinsent Masons

Danika is a Senior Associate at Pinsent Masons based in our Johannesburg office. She has been extensively involved in matters regarding parastatals, contractors, engineers, and employers from both a litigious and insurance aspect. The total quantum of the disputes and claims she has been involved in exceeds ZAR 5 billion, and these relate to matters concerning aviation, pipelines, roadworks, hydro plants, coal plants, bridge works as well as train and tunnelling, both locally and internationally.​

Danika has a keen interest in resolving client’s disputes by giving sensible and commercially sound advice, helping client’s strike a balance between continuing a dispute or reaching an amicable settlement.

In her spare time, Danika enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons (who keep her on her toes) cooking, exercising and spending time with friends.
