Itweva Nogueira is the Founding Partner of IN SOCIEDADE DE ADVOGADOS R. L, a boutique Law Firm in Angola, with focus in commercial law. She is also the Executive Director at the UK Angola Chamber of Commerce, since September 2018.

Her experience regards to investments, mergers and acquisitions, structuring and restructuring of companies, joint ventures, contracts, IP, regulatory and compliance. Itweva and her firm has advised clients in the oil Industry (upstream and downstream) providing daily legal assistance to corporate, tax, labor and litigation issues. Itweva has also worked on construction arbitration disputes between international investors in Angola, and collaborates with other larger firms locally and internationally on larger complex transactions.

Itweva holds an LLM from Catholic University Law School (Oporto, Portugal), and is a Chevening Alumni for an LLM in International Commercial Law (with Distinction) from the U.K Brunel University of London.

In 2019 she concluded a Post-Graduation in Agribusiness by ISEG/ Academia BAI and completed the ToT in Compliance and anti-corruption by CIPE. She also acts as the local partner of CIPE for the strengthening of SME’s and anti-corruption.

Itweva is a member of OAA, AYA, ICC YAF, YICCA and IBA, and was one of the recipients of the Award of the 50 Most Promising Young Arbitration Practitioners Award 2020 (AYA).
