Kieran has over 41 years’ experience working in South Africa and Africa with particular focus on energy and infrastructure projects. Kieran has advised on numerous first-of-its-kind projects associated with the South African government’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Procurement (REIPPP) Programme, off-grid renewable energy projects, gas-to-power projects, green hydrogen project development, processing plants in the industrial and mining sectors taking into account the migration to decarbonisation and in respect of the development of hybrid energy projects. Kieran’s energy experience includes power generation, nuclear, oil and gas, renewable energy and clean technology, coal baseload, gas and green hydrogen water in South Africa and Southern Africa. In the infrastructure sector, he has experience in road, water and wastewater, ports,  hospitals, airports , office accommodation , rail, and social infrastructure. He has advised Sponsors, Developers, Contractors and Lenders across the full project value chain in the energy and infrastructure sectors as well processing plant transactions.
