Omonigho Oyoma Brown is a distinguished legal and commercial strategist with over 17 years of multi-jurisdictional experience across the energy, infrastructure, and financial services sectors. Her expertise lies at the intersection of commercial viability and rigorous risk mitigation, leading high-stakes negotiations and legal frameworks that drive revenue growth while protecting business continuity. Known for delivering bankable projects and effective risk governance, Omonigho has structured and managed over US$3 billion worth of contracts across Sub-Saharan Africa, spanning energy, oil and gas, and national infrastructure.

Currently, she serves as the Head of Contract Management (Corporate Head) at Julius Berger Nigeria PLC, where she directs the contractual and commercial strategy for a portfolio exceeding US$2 billion. In this role, Omonigho’s expertise spans the full project lifecycle, from leading bid strategies for major EPCC projects to spearheading dispute mitigation that has saved millions in legal exposure. Her leadership has been instrumental in the execution of landmark national infrastructure projects, including the Second Niger Bridge, the Lagos-Sagamu Expressway, and the Bodo-Bonny Road.

Previously, she served as Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) Senior Contracts Analyst at SLB (formerly Schlumberger Inc.) where she safeguarded the business’s interest in energy projects across Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, and Ethiopia; and as a Legal Officer at Guaranty Trust Bank PLC (Now GTCO).

Omonigho’s academic and professional pedigree is extensive, holding a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of South Wales, UK, and an MBA from Nexford University, US. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants and holds advanced certifications in Management Consulting, Commercial & Contract Management, Lean Project Management, and Arbitration.

Beyond her corporate role, Omonigho is an active contributor to the development of construction law in Africa. She serves as the Nigeria Country Representative for Africa Construction Law (ACL) and is a faculty member for the Inter-Bau Foundation Leadership Hub, delivering training on Construction Law and Contracts to emerging female leaders in the sector. She is also involved with Women in Infrastructure Community Africa (WICA), Africa Arbitration Academy, and Africa Construction Law, where she supports knowledge sharing, mentorship, and capacity building within the industry.
