Dr. Sally El Sawah is Egyptian and French qualified, and Registered Foreign Lawyer with the SRA in England & Wales.  She is the Co-founder and Head of Arbitration & Litigation at Junction | Paris and the founder and principal of El Sawah Law | Cairo. 

She specialises in commercial and investment arbitration and cross-border litigation, with particular focus on Construction & Infrastructure; Energy, Renewables and Oil & Gas; Manufacturing & Industrial; International Sales, Commodities, Distribution & Agency; Transportation & Shipping; Pharmaceuticals; Hospitality; Aviation; and Agribusiness.

Dr. El Sawah has gained a wealth of experience during a career spanning over fifteen years in Paris, London and Cairo, both in reputable law firms and as an independent practitioner.   She has considerable experience as Arbitrator and Counsel.

She regularly represents States, State Entities, State-owned companies, major multinational companies in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Asia, in projects and arbitrations, covering the full spectrum of legal and technical issues arising from complex arbitration and litigation matters.  She also advises and appears as Counsel before French and Egyptian Courts, arguing ground-breaking cases which resulted in landmark arbitral and court decisions in the field of arbitration and state immunities, reported in reputable leading journals and bulletins.
