Kwadwo Sarkodie

Kwadwo Sarkodie is a partner in the international arbitration and construction and engineering groups in the London office of Mayer Brown International LLP. His wide-ranging international experience includes advising in relation to projects and disputes in Sub-Saharan Africa, including disputes in The Gambia, Ghana, Nigeria, and Tanzania.  He also has extensive experience in relation to matters in South America, Europe, India, and the Middle East. He speaks regularly, and has published extensively, regarding dispute resolution, projects, and arbitration in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Kwadwo has substantial experience across a broad range of dispute resolution. He regularly advises in relation to construction claims and disputes concerning such matters as defective works, final accounts, extension of time and loss and expense under a variety of forms of construction contract (both standard form and bespoke). In addition to international arbitration, he has extensive experience with regard to litigation, mediation and adjudication.

Kwadwo was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2003, joined Mayer Brown in 2004 and was made partner in 2012. His memberships include the African Arbitration Association and the LCIA African Users Council.
